Wow your invitees with a breathtaking view
The Muir Beach Community Center was built by the community for the community’s use and currently is only available for Muir Beach resident rentals due to insufficient facilitator staffing at the moment. We hope sometime in the future to once again be able to book non-resident retreats, weddings, or other public or private celebrations.
This intimate rustic barn has it all – ocean views – mountain views – and a peaceful rural setting only 30 minutes from San Francisco. From our center, which is located on a hill overlooking the beach, your invitees will be able to sip their cocktails on our sunny deck, breath in the ocean air, listen to beach laughter, and if you stay until night, watch San Francisco’s city lights reflect on the ocean surface. An unforgettable location for a successful intimate gathering.

A Rustic Barn type venue
The MBCC is a very simple, rustic venue. It’s also on the small side (80 people max). We don’t have much in the “included” department. We do have chairs and tables but we do not have much silverware (matching or otherwise), plates or linens of any kind. The Center has a kitchen area for a modest amount of food preparation. We have a small Pullman kitchen but it is not supplied as a standard commercial kitchen would be. We do not have a white board or projector but we do have an old style screen and free WiFi. Street parking only; there is no parking lot, and care must be taken to not block residential driveways. There is a loading area up at street level and a ramp leading down to the building for hand trucks and handicap access.
